HIGH POWER ROCKETRY
Design, construct, and test a multi-stage solid fuel rocket with the goal of reaching and exceeding an altitude 10,000 feet. Two engineers from Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson will work with us as our Technical Mentors. The rocket will be capable of carrying telemetry and tracking electronics.

RADIO TELESCOPE
We are currently in the process of procuring materials to construct a Completly Hackable Amature Radio Telescope (CHART). This project involves learning to interpret and image the data that we receive.

We have obtained licensed copies of the System Tool Kit by AGI and are working to complete Level One Certification. STK’s physics-based, multi-domain modeling, simulation, and analysis environment supports the fast, cost-effective, and responsive approaches needed to realize the full value of digital engineering.

CubeSAT
We are researching the requirements for submitting a proposal to NASA. We would like to have an outline for a project proposal ready in the coming months. NASA’s CubeSat Launch Initiative provides opportunities for small satellite payloads built by universities, high schools and non-profit organizations to fly on upcoming launches.

SPACEPORT CASA GRANDE
We have begun plans to establish a permanant launch rocket launch site for model rockets with the goal of upgrading the launch site to accomodate high-power rockets. Initial plans will call for a 300' x 300' launch area with a 10' x 10' concrete launch pad.
